How our Young Driver insurance policy works
We’re on the side of young drivers. That’s why our Telematics Smart Box is designed to help you drive more safely, so you’ll feel more confident on the road and may reduce the cost of your renewal premium in the process.
Mileage based insurance
Select the miles you need and this will be reflected in the price you pay.
Quick telematics smart box installation
You will either be sent a telematics plug-in device via post, (you should receive this within two to three days after the start date of your policy Installing the device is simple and should only take a few minutes, once it's plugged in for the first time, the device will automatically activate.) Or your professionally installed device will be fitted within 7 days of your policy start date, at a time and place of your choice.
No curfews
You'll have complete freedom to come and go as you please. Driving at night may affect your driver score, but there’s no curfew.
Online driving dashboard
Log into your personal dashboard to access discounts (coming soon) and to monitor your miles.
24hr Claims Line
Most of our insurers will give you access to professional advisers who are on hand to help 24 hours, 7 days a week.
